Mr. Browne visited us today! this is how he looks like:

so cute right? he belongs to my cousin Nina’s friend, who brought him back from Australia where they were studying previously. Nina and her friend, not the dog, lah. :)

he is quite a big dog, but he is very gentle and loving, and he loves to play. look at his stupid face again:

hurhur. sigh. my mum loves him and wants to keep him but i think that would be too cruel because our house is too small and he will probably go crazy in our house, it being so noisy and too small for him. i wouldn’t mind keeping him though…

anyway, for everyone’s info, i just got offered a room at PGPR so i think i am probably going to take it up. i’ll miss staying at home for a while, i guess, but at least this means no more travelling to and fro. more updates soon…

go check out the Jan 2006 issue of the Kent Ridge Hall Bulletin Board. it is very nicely done up, and i think Pontack has done a very good job with it as the editor. don’t worry, this is not cronism but an objective viewpoint from which i state that i think his articles were very well written (the plug about “D-iva Udders” notwithstanding), and shows signs of growth and maturity as a writer. now, if he blogged like this, i think he would be garnering more hits, but we’ll see what the future holds huh. sadly, the rest of his writers, apart from Marcus (whose article i thought was very well written too. although i felt it didn’t really make sense, cos i didn’t see the “marriage” of culture and sports linkages, but i liked the part about the “grey area” thingy), cannot really make it. bu kudos to you, my friend of… 19 years? keep this up and you’ll become as good as me. hurhur.

next, remember to catch The Dubious Brothers and The Rachels (Mk IV actually, because we forgot about the Bash Band) at the JamX Finals on Sun, 05 Feb around 6pm at the Youth Park. Featuring the funkiness of Kubai Lin and his band of chain-smoking, whiskey-guzzling brothers in the former, and the talents of Victor, Sherry, Rachel and the rest of the KR Rockers in the latter band, it is a sonic treat not to be missed.

last but not least, if you’re a fan of podcasts, do take some time off to listen to WYNcast, a project by Ziliang, Kian Seng and Jackson. sadly, i don’t own an iPod, and am not really in the habit of sitting down listening to people talk unless they have a problem and need to get something off their chest, so i truthfully can’t really be bothered to listen to it. but i like the conviction and determination within them to try and make this project succeed, and i support convicted and determined causes that do not harm people, so good luck and all the best with this, guys!

fake as though i am some kind of guru whose blog everyone reads and instructions they follow. but like i said before, if you are not happy…

now, how could anyone not cheer up after looking at a pic like that?

(i hear the detractors whispering: the person whose golden retriever got knocked down AND flattened by an SUV. tee hee. oh alright i shall stop being mean. negates the purpose of this post doesn’t it?)

today i felt so sad and friendless so i went back to KR for a while. being there makes me feel loved. haha. i am such a whore for emotional affection. i should wear t-shirts that say “Hug Me and I’m Yours.” or “I’m a Good Lay.” oops. hurhur *snort* well, next time, i really really wanna design my own line of loud t-shirts cos i think my brand of humour is appreciated by many.

what? you don’t believe me? then stop reading my blog! hahahahaha! :)

ok, cheer up everyone. tomorrow the sun will come out and it will be a better day.
