Reclaim the Night, or otherwise known as Take Back the Night, is an internationally held march protesting sexual violence, particularly against women.

This movement encourages those who do not want to march in the streets to light a match or a candle and take a photo of it to post on your blog. (Especially useful in Singapore I would think, since we can’t march.) Link to at least one other light-marcher, so that it becomes a virtual march.

Let’s work towards a world without sexual violence.

Some might say it was the novelty of visiting a new club.

Some others might say that it was the lure of getting in free on the guestlist.

Some might also say that it was the diluted booze… Which didn’t really do much except leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouths, anyway.

While others might also attribute it to the funky face-paint jobs that we got at Plush.

Which I tried my best to adhere to, but unfortunately, could not.

But at the end of the day, if there was any one thing which I felt was the defining moment of our friendship, then I would say without any regret, that it was those damn bees, ladies and gentlemen.

Happy Halloween, and thanks for the GG. It’s memories and images like these that are gonna sustain me for the next two weeks.

Lol! :)

…is the new look of the site? Better?

Previously, the very long right column irritated the shit out of me, and in the spirit of procrastination, I decided to do something about it today.

FYI, in structuring the page, I tried to use a bit of what I have learnt about Visual Design from Critical Discourse Analysis.

In the hope that my university education will not go to waste. Haha :)
